Combining all current lot owners there are 56 family member "Meadows residents". The youngest is eleven months old and the eldest ... is no longer keeping track.
Home values range from $380,000's up to $1,000,000 plus. Home styles and sizes vary from log home, country estate to ranch.
In addition to the human inhabitants there are 21 or so resident horses, 2 miniature donkeys, various dogs & cats and at times the visiting fox, deer, wild turkey. Horse breeds range from Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, Rocky Mountain Walker, Hanovarian, to a "trusted pony". 2. What is the current availability of mortgages and land loans? Banks have money to loan! If you are interested in buying a vacant building lot or horse farm acerage a good first step is call a mortgage lender and inquire to your specific qualifications. 3. What are the HOA dues and what is included? The Meadows HOA dues are $75 per month and are billed quarterly. 4. If I buy a lot --- do I have to build a home right away? NO, there are no regulations that require a set time frame to build on your lot. Albeit, most lot owners do choose to build a.s.a.p. so they may take advantage of the Meadows Lifestyle right away. Understanding Meadows lots are an extraordinary investment -- a few buyers have purchased lots as a savvy investment.
5. Are there any building restrictions or minimums? YES, single family homes must be a minimum of 2,000 square feet heated/cooled space. Barn apartments & garage apartments are allowed and need to be only 900 square feet in size. Remember, there is no required time frame to build. As some lot owners have already done, you may choose to first build a barn with an attached apartment (hunt box) and wait to build a single family home - if at all.
